Looking at my history on this blog?

Suppose my empathy and compassion labels me in todays world where empathy has been called a weakness by the richest man in the world, Musk? Not sure what Musk feels about compassion, but I suspect it rivels empathy in his view of the world?

Anyone out there listen to Mary Trump? I find her view of her uncle Trump not very flattering. She has many enlightening things to tell about Trump and I suspect she is telling that thing, which in the family value conservatives world find very annoying, you know the truth.

Okay, testing my blog posting here, and will see what it looks like, so I can hopefully improve.

Standing Rock from web photo?

So inspired to paint this because the found the horse so both challenging and inviting to paint. Plus of course the political background is always in the background.  Oil painting on linin 18×24.  Still need to sign and varnish it.  I am pleased with it.

Final Standing Rock

19th Avenue San Francisco

From my photograph of 19th Avenue going through San Francisco.  It may not be done, but then this is referred to as artists discretion. Since I was conjured, born and raised in San Francisco I will need to get back there and take more pictures to paint. Have  a potential idea or two in my minds eye, which I could possibly attempt, but for now it is foggy.

This is oil on canvas 16×20. 20161029_170138

Three Eagles

I painted this early this summer, from a photo I liked so much and had to paint it. I usually like to paint from my own phones but I got this off the web. First bird painting I have done, for some time now I have been wanting to paint an owl, so maybe next time?  This is oil on canvas 18 x 24.

Art of Issues

My support for the animals of this world is expressed in my rhino picture.  Apparenlty by osmosis and virtue of my subconscious, I created a work supporting my fellow humans and  doing this work, subconsciously… after the fact as the  work was done  I realized I had made this  abstract portal in a strange way showing black lives matter. I suppose in a very strange way.

I was experimenting on canvas with water color and  ink and pen, curious to see how ink and pen felt on canvas.   Sometimes mediums do not feel well on different surfaces.  As it turned out I liked the feeling and concocted this work.

BLM abstract

I had forgotten but had seen this picture and had downloaded  it to my picture files when  I had seen the below photo on the web.     As  controversy’s go we do seem to live in a violent society,  I am not attacking the police here, but the uncanny way this work developed seems to suggest our minds (mine especially) do work in strange ways. I find the visual  both compelling and the analogy amusing, I use the world amusing as the photo  impacted me in some way?
