This was my first attempt at painting of a black cat, I had fun painting this, again in expressionist style which is even more fun then impressionist.

My Blue Horses
This is my emulation of Fraz Marc’s “Blue Horses” He is one of my favorite artists and found this one work interesting. He painted it much larger then I, plus I changed the colors somewhat.

Expressionist Zebras
After painting a small painting of two zebras for my granddaughter, I decided after working on the stripes it would be fun to do this much larger work in oil, a handicap I expected and knew would happen, is both black and white are slow colors to dry in oil paint. I decided not to do this in acrylic preferring the luminosity of oil
