This was my first attempt at painting of a black cat, I had fun painting this, again in expressionist style which is even more fun then impressionist.

Expressionist Zebras
After painting a small painting of two zebras for my granddaughter, I decided after working on the stripes it would be fun to do this much larger work in oil, a handicap I expected and knew would happen, is both black and white are slow colors to dry in oil paint. I decided not to do this in acrylic preferring the luminosity of oil

For some reason, obviously my ignorance I do not have the capability to delete this blog post, as I am attempting to scrap off my political posts on this blog. So instead I am doing this her…, explain why this is here?
Different Theme
Okay, I changed my theme, not sure if I like this one any better than the last? My goal is to show my art, so it does not look like it is on display at Wal-Mart. I would like to let people choose categories…you know, so people can go onto my poetry or musing about politics. So I may be changing the theme once again? Any comments or constructive criticism about my theme change will be received with appreciation.
Well, I decided to return home to my old theme, so much for change?
I feel comfortable here, just be nice if people search separate category’s.
